Applications Although the Belt Lift is great for sharpening, it also adds versatilty to do other work. Use the Belt Lift on your sander to sand or shape any curved object. The slack sections of the belt are excellent for the fine delicate work found in model planes and ships. Work right on the edge of the belt to get into tight crevices. Some other examples are: rounding off edges or corners, shaping gun stocks, forming or polishing bracelets, making curved furniture pieces, deburring tubing, shaping small parts used on musical instruments, cleaning up welds on bicycle or motorcycle parts, shaping decoys, and numerous other uses for all sorts of hobby and craft projects. Use it with wood, metal, plastics or any other material you can sand! Also works great with leather polishing belts.
